MANILA -- Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to probe the investment scam allegedly perpetrated by Wahana Credit and Loan Corp.
In his Department Order (DO) No. 133 issued Tuesday, Aguirre ordered the NBI to “conduct investigation and case build-up over the alleged multi-million investment scam' committed by the firm and file appropriate charges against its directors and corporate officers once these allegations are proven true.
