Dennis Harris, 34, of Bolivar, Tenn., was charged by a Hardeman County grand jury with first-degree murder, robbery and arson. His wife, Juanita, 41, was charged with being an accessory to murder and tampering with evidence.

Prosecutors say the conspiracy involved the holdup at the Bolivar cabin and a similar robbery in nearby Senatobia in northern Mississippi in which five poker players were robbed at gunpoint. Adams has pleaded guilty to the federal robbery charge and to state charges of second-degree murder in the Bolivar deaths in exchange for a 20-year prison.

The indictment was returned Monday but was sealed until Harris and his wife could be notified. Both are in federal custody on related charges.

The indictment accuses Harris of directing the robbery of a rural cabin near Bolivar where six poker players were killed. Their bodies were discovered March 31 in the burned ruins of the cabin 70 miles east of Memphis.

Harris and his wife have been held without bond since they were indicted by a federal grand jury in June.
